Dear Reader,
I have always been amazed at how jugglers can take several items, like bowling pins, throw them into the air and never let one fall. That is what I feel is expected of women today. We are to take the different roles in our lives such as being wife, mother, business woman, friend, and so on, and somehow keep them all flowing in some kind of perfect balance. It can be overwhelming at times.
My life consists of a fabulous husband, 6 amazing children (3 who work in our family owned businesses and 3 who are still young enough to still be in our home school), a family owned and run eBay store that focuses on plus sized women’s apparel named “ The Casual Woman”, a family owned and run trucking company, a Sunday School class that I teach weekly, friends I want to nurture friendships with, neighbors I want to be neighborly with... You get the idea. In fact, I’ll bet in many ways you live the balancing act too.
This Blog is about the ways we stay encouraged, motivated, current, content, feminine, informed, stylish, romantic and so on. Due to my busy schedule, the thoughts and ideas shared in these posts will rarely be exhaustive; and that’s where you come in. Perhaps, together, we can figure out how to handle the balancing act with a little more finesse and a little less stress. So please feel free to share your thoughts on these subjects so the rest of us can benefit from your ideas as well. I look forward to good times together!
